BeautyBay.com Order #2 Part I: Eyeko Brow Gel & Skinny Brush Mascara

Not too long ago I completed 2 major Uni Assignments both worth 50%,  so naturally I figured I would treat myself and hopped straight on to Beauty Bay to find some hard earned goodies!

I have been wanting a new mascara for a while but nothing has been shouting BUY ME, so when I stumbled across Eyeko I was intrigued. Having never heard of this brand before I did some research and saw PixiWoo recommended the Skinny Brush Mascara, that confirmed I had to try it!

Having quite natural shaped eyebrows, in-between waxing appointments they can tend to look a tad unruly so brow gel is a life saviour!

The Eyeko Brow Gel has a very liquid consistency and is quite wet upon application. It is has a brown tint which is brilliant for me and saves me having to fill in my brows- although its not too brown that blonder haired people wouldn't be able to use it. The brush is teeny tiny and styled like a mascara wand which I feel makes applying the product super simple, I tend to do an up-and-across motion following the natural slant of my brows.  It dries nicely and not too stiff allowing your brows to look natural yet remain in place throughout the day! Overall I feel that this is a pretty fool proof product, it does what it says it will and does so effortlessly!

Being so impressed by the brow gel I was praying that I would feel the same about the mascara. Eyeko claims the Skinny Brush mascara's "dispersed bristles grabs and captures even the shortest lashes to lengthen, extend and separate like no other" and boy oh boy does it do that! It allows you to achieve Twiggy Lashes in seconds, what 3 coats of other mascara does, the Skinny Brush does in one! The formula contains "conditioning Pro-vitamin B" which assists in the growth of your lashes and prevents breakage, it's also paraben free which gives it another big tick!  My only gripe with the product is that it is super wet, even more so than the brow gel so when applying you have to be super careful as it transfers onto any part around the eye it touches. It comes with a little guitar pick shaped thingamabob which youcan hold against your brow bone to prevent touching but I always forget to use it (maybe thats part of the problem)! Overall another fabulous product from Eyeko, this has become my go to mascara for nights out and when I "dress to impress"! I can't wait to try more from the range!
